The Terms and Conditions outlined below apply to the sale of products purchased from TN TEFL Academy

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully since every participant agrees to the these prior to undertaking aTN TEFL Academy course/program. If there is anything you do not understand, please contact us before ordering a product – we’ll be happy to provide more information.

Buying from us via our website

How to buy

Follow the “Course Dates!” link to place an order and complete a purchase. You will be offered a choice of one or more products and/or locations. You will then be able to select the items of your choice, check out, and pay. Payment via this website is by means of credit/debit card, PayPal or a direct bank deposit. For additional payment methods, contact us.

Checking and correcting

It is your responsibility to ensure that your order is correct. You can correct any input errors prior to the submission of your order. If you realize, however, that you’ve made a mistake after you’ve submitted your order, then contact us right away so that we can work with you to correct it.


Invoices will be sent by email after the transaction has been authorized.

Orders cannot be withdrawn without our agreement

By submitting your order via our website you are irrevocably agreeing to buy the goods on these Terms and Conditions. Our Returns Policy is outlined below. 

Acceptance of orders

We are not obliged to supply goods or services to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order. This is when the contract is made. We confirm   acceptance by an email, which will come from “TN TEFL Academy”.

Ordering allows us to use your personal data

By submitting your order you are also allowing us to use your personal details to deliver the goods or services concerned (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors for the purpose of fulfilling your order).

Pricing, delivery costs and times

Pricing is clearly quoted before and during the processing of an order on the website. TN TEFL Academy reserves the right to amend its pricing at any time. Prices are fixed at the time of order confirmation. Where applicable, delivery charges are clearly shown within the website - they will always be listed at the point of order confirmation.



Ordering online

The TN TEFL Academy website encrypts all personal information including name, address and credit/debit card details using industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is intended to ensure that information passed between your computer and this site cannot be read in the unlikely event that it is intercepted by someone else. 


A cookie is a small item of information that websites use to both store and retrieve information via the client’s browser.TN TEFL Academy requires the use of cookies to enable order processing. By logging into the store you are agreeing to the use of cookies. If you do not accept, or you erase, these cookies you may be required to log in manually at several different points during the transaction. 


When you use this site we will communicate with you by email. Our emails (including any attachments to them) may contain information that is confidential or legally privileged and is intended only for viewing by a particular person or persons. Email transmission cannot be guaranteed to be secure or error free for many reasons for example, information can be intercepted, corrupted, lost, destroyed, delayed or be incomplete or contain viruses. TN TEFL Academy accepts no liability for any loss or damage which may be caused by viruses or other pernicious code or third party action. It is your responsibility to check incoming emails for viruses.

Provision of information about products

All and any information about the products on the website, including pricing, is provided by TN TEFLAcademy in good faith. The information may be altered without notice at the discretion of TN TEFL Academy. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are using the most up­-to-date information relating to any particular product.


Returns, cancellations and refunds

Unfortunately we are not obliged to accept returns, cancellations or refunds. Courses, programs, and training:

  1. You have 7 days after making a credit card payment for the deposit amount of USD 600 to request a refund should you change your mind about participating in a TEFL course. After this period of time the deposit payment becomes non-refundable.
  2. The 600 USD deposit is deducted from the total amount of the course fee.
  3. The balance of the course fee must be paid before or on the first day of the course.

Excursions and Trips:

For in- country programs/courses at one of our training facilities. The excursions and trips are provided free during the program as part of a package. No refunds will be given on any unused individual activities or accommodation.s, a refund on any unused portions of the program fee will be granted, up and until the end of the third day of the course.

Third-party service providers

Third ­party service providers include, but shall not be limited to visa agents, study and work programs, employment agents and couriers, etc. Entrust TEFL accepts no liability for any act, omission, default, neglect, injury, damage or loss to persons or goods whatsoever of the third ­party service provider or their servants and agents. Entrust TEFL does not warrant, and is in no way responsible for the accuracy of any information given or statement made by the third ­party service provider or their servants or agents.


In the event that third ­party service provider accept payment on behalf of TN TEFL Academy. TN TEFL Academy shall not be liable for such payment if the third ­party service provider defaults in any way. TN TEFL Academy shall not be responsible for mediating between the third ­party service provider and the applicant or the applicant’s representatives. TN TEFL Academy will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused as a result of the cancellation of journeys, deviations, delays in issuance or replacement of visas or in transport or in the start dates of an applicant’s study or employment agreement or where no work is offered as part of the study program or where contracts are cancelled or failure to provide seats, berths or facilities for carrying or storing luggage or for failure to provide accommodation, howsoever the same may arise. TN TEFL Academy will not be liable in the event of any alteration or change of any kind made by any of the third­ party service provider following the acceptance of any contract by them.


The decision to grant or deny the application for a visa is a decision of the Embassy or Consulate to which the application is made, and as such is outside the control of TN TEFL Academy. The responsibility for, and accuracy of, the information contained in the visa application is solely that of the applicant. The applicant is solely responsible for their own visa and legal status in Thailand. Visa information requirements, visa fees and visa issuing times are subject to change by foreign governments without notice, so TN TEFL Academy does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact the respective visa issuing authorities to make sure that they have sufficient time, money and documentation to successfully apply for their visa. TN TEFL Academy does not assume liability for delayed, lost or stolen visas and/or passports.

Work permit

It is not the responsibility of TN TEFL Academy to provide you with a work permit. Once you are working at a school, the school will provide you with a sponsorship package to take to the embassy in either Hong Kong or your home country where you’ll convert your tourist visa into a work Z visa (teaching visa). Converting your visa can also be done from within China and the process takes at least six to eight weeks to complete.


Completion of the course 

You understand that the TEFL training is not a holiday and that you will need to work hard to earn your certificate. 

Placement location/level: You agree that TN TEFL Academy cannot guarantee the location or the level of your teaching placement. TN TEFL Academy’s goal is to place you in a teaching job and we work with the schools and agents to place you after the completion of the TEFL course.

Placement documents: To be considered for placement the following documents must be received by TN TEFL Academy at least one week prior to your arrival at our training centers. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have obtained these documents or we simply cannot provide placement at the end of the course.

Visa photo: A business professional color head and shoulders (visa type) photo that can be sent to prospective employers. A professional appearance is very important in China.

Passport: A color scan copy of your passport – just the photo/info page.

CV/resume: Your completed CV/resume as per the template provided.

Educational documents: Color scan copies of any educational documents such as a degree or diploma, transcripts, certificates, matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.



All applicants grant TN TEFL Academy and its partners their consent to use any and all media taken or created during the course, and up to six months after completion, for marketing purposes.
